Find a collection of wooden lodges set in attractive gardens in the village of Saltburn-by-the-Sea in North East Yorkshire. Bugle Lodge is a one bedroom, 1 bathroom, self catering holiday home on one level which will suit people who do not want to deal with stairs. It is also pet friendly; guests could bring their dog with them to enjoy the delights of North Yorkshire. There is just one step at the front door to enter the lodge. Step into an open plan L-shaped sitting and dining room. This is thoughtfully furnished with a sofa, coffee table, television and a small dining table with two chairs. A smart grey glossy kitchen contains the essentials for self-catering. It has an electric oven, a ceramic hub, a microwave, fridge, freezer, a washing machine, iron and ironing board plus a hair dryer. A sufficient anount of crockery, cutlery and glassware is provided for your meals for two. There are saucepans to cook with, a teapot, cafetiere, toast rack and basic essentials. Seasoned self caterers like to bring their own sharp knives and utensils that they feel comfortable using. The bedroom has a double divan bed, a television hanging it on the opposite wall and a fitted wardrobe. The smart fully tiled shower room has a wash basin and low level WC.

A decked patio to the side of the lodge has a table and chairs offering a pleasant place to sit out in the fresh air. The lodge is centrally heated by gas so that you should be comfortably cosy. There is allocated parking space for a single car.

The grounds are very pleasant to walk around and you may encounter peacocks and wildlife - dogs must be supervised at all times. One dog is welcome, two small dogs would need to be agreed prior to booking. Short breaks over a minimum of three nights are welcome when there is availability.

Saltburn Beach is a long sandy beach with the Hunt Cliff nature reserve at one end. Visit the Saltburn Valley Gardens, have a ride on the miniature railway, enjoy the various cafés, the fish and chip shop and pub. From the lodge as your base drive to the picturesque town of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend, or Whitby. There are lots of coastal towns to explore and of course not for forgetting the wonderful North York Moors National Park.
