The town has also previously won Britain in Bloom awards on account of the quality of its floral displays.
There are a number of attractions just an easy drive away from the town should you wish to explore the local area whilst on a cottage holiday. Nearby attractions including the National Arboretum at Westonbirt with its stunning collection of trees and woodland trails. Also nearby is Chavenage House which is open to the public from May to September. The admission price here includes a guided tour. The National Trust’s Dyrham Park in Dyrham is also well worth a visit with a stunning baroque style country house, 272 acres of gardens and a deer park.
Tetbury is well located for discovering a number of the Cotswolds’ top attractions. Visit the unique Cotswold Water Park, with its 140 lakes it is a great place for fishing, walking, guided walks, birdwatching and a variety of different watersports. Gloucester and Cheltenham are both elegant towns which are well worth a visit.
