The small hamlet of Adsett offers a peaceful location for a country cottage getaway. Set in a bend of the river in the beautiful Wye Valley, it’s close to the expansive woodland of the Royal Forest of Dean. The forest is laced with trails for walkers, cyclists and horse riders giving everyone a chance to explore its inner depths. It's a great place for sitting back and relaxing in tranquillity, but just a short drive will take you on to the cathedral city of Gloucester, or up the valley to the delightful market town of Ross-on-Wye with its historic building and range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Even closer by are the National Trust gardens at Westbury Court a rare surviving example of the Dutch Water Garden featuring canals and formal beds.
