Nevern Castle, 2 miles further inland was founded by the Welsh Princes. The narrow streets of Newport remind us of its medieval history. Here you will find restaurants, pubs and cafes to rest in after sightseeing. A Neolithic burial chamber, a Celtic Cross, stone circles, and many ancient relics dot the landscape. Wild flowers, wildlife and scenery add to the beauty of this place.
