Try a few days holiday in the country and discover the beautiful landscapes of Britain. So many people follow the sun and have never experienced our own rural paradise.

One way to discover some of the most picturesque rural areas is to book weekend breaks in holiday cottages in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. These rural regions have been recognised as especially scenic – places where you will find plenty to admire. You could have the most delicious weekend soaking up the scenery, rambles or cycling down country lanes, afternoon tea in a tea-shop and dining in style at a good food country pub.

Each of the country cottages displayed is available for weekend breaks most of the time with perhaps the exclusion of school summer holidays, Christmas and New Year. Even then, it is worth checking availability because there may have been a cancellation which leaves an opportunity for a weekend break. The usual booking period for weekend breaks is after 4pm on a Friday afternoon until 10am on a Monday. Two night breaks may also be available.
