About The Secret Garden
Quirky 3 Bedroom Holiday Home with Games Room in the Scottish Highlands
The Secret Garden is an unusual three-bedroom holiday home in the Scottish Highlands that would suit guests who value comfort. The décor exhibits a variety of styles, added to as the property has been renovated. Ultra-modern bathrooms sit alongside Scottish Highland style bedrooms with floral bedding. The three bedrooms, two king-size and a twin, are both spacious and comfortable in every way. They feature plenty of storage space for clothes, bedroom chairs and table should anyone wish to spend a little quiet time reading or responding to messages on a mobile phone. The house has broadband Internet.A luxurious Jacuzzi bathroom is the en-suite to the main bedroom, the other two bedrooms share a shower room.
The all-important living area is open-plan as it tends to be in self-catering properties. It is painted in a warm orange colour and features oak beams. Squashy modern leather sofas and a selection of easy chairs offer a choice of seating. This is a room that guests can really make themselves at home in. The wooden table seats six for meals. A built in kitchen contains all essentials for a self-catering holiday; the cooking appliances of electric oven, hob, microwave, plus a washing machine.
The enormous games room will be a popular place to relax in the evenings. A big pool table stands in the centre of the room. Enjoy honing your skills or a friendly competition with your family or friends. There are sofas to sit and chat on, a table football game, or bring your own favourite games and just have a good time.
Immediately outside the accommodation is a courtyard garden with tables and chairs placed under the huge gazebo. This is sheltered and a lovely sunny spot for blue sky days. Because this holiday accommodation is all on one level, it would be very good for anyone with mobility issues.
This holiday home stands in twenty acres of land and overlooks the Beauly Firth. You might be lucky and see a school of dolphins swim by, if not, take a boat trip out to sea to increase your chances of spotting dolphins and whales.
For days out during your holiday in the Highlands, drive over the Kessock Bridge into Inverness, and go see Loch Ness. There is no lovelier place to be when the sun shines. Go and have a taste of Scotland.
