One very good reason to enjoy a luxury cottage break in Angus, north east Scotland, is to enjoy a quintessential taste of Scotland. Fine food is one of the gourmet delights of this region and a very good excuse for a luxurious holiday. Some of the plumpest juiciest raspberries grown anywhere come from Angus and Perthshire. There is something in the climate that causes soft fruit to thrive.
Have as many good dinners at high class restaurants as possible during your 5 star cottage break; sip an original malt whisky after dinner or a spot of liqueur and allow the warmth of Scottish hospitality to relax and entertain.
From the privacy and comfort of your luxurious holiday home you can venture out to explore the surrounding regions. The Cairngorms National Park is on the doorstep; a wild and rugged terrain inhabited by deer, rabbits, foxes, wild cats and birds or prey. There is something magical about the vision of a herd of deer grazing or a golden eagle scouring the ground from a great height. Go for a moonlight walk and expect to be amazed by hooting owls and scurrying creatures.
The city of Dundee offers a shopping centre, museums, theatres and a wider range of eateries during days out. Book that high quality holiday cottage in Angus and enjoy a cultural and culinary feast.
