Property Location
Sowerby Bridge
Planning to visit Halifax in Yorkshire? Take a look at self-catering cottages and houses to the south west of Halifax in a small settlement called Sowerby Bridge. Sufficiently far out of the city centre for peaceful nights, Sowerby Bridge is along the A58 to Ripponden and the Pennines. Sowerby Bridge to the Peak District is a mere 30 minute drive and access to walks around the string of reservoirs at the north end of the Peak District. Walks around a reservoir have two advantages, pleasant views with good bird watching en-route and tend to be fairly flat.
