Provided space for private parking makes this a convenient stay as well as a beautiful one.  Don’t forget to bring along furry friends – Blagdon Cottage has space for up to two dogs!

Inside this Sleeps 8 Pet-Friendly Country Cottage in Exmoor

On the ground floor is the lovely sitting area, with rustic and cosy furniture to curl up in and enjoy the heat of an electric fire. The room is perfectly lit and decorated in an authentic but modern style, and the wooden dining table behind will be the perfect place for a morning coffee and pastry. The fully equipped kitchen with an oil-fired Rayburn as well as all the kitchen essentials is a dream to cook in, allowing for plenty of space to make a nostalgic family meal.

In the evenings, retire to one of four bedrooms upstairs. The bedrooms are laid out as follows:

• Two bedrooms with king-sized double beds, perfect to enjoy a night of luxury in your countryside retreat. 

• The third bedroom has a double bed, ideal for single occupancy, but able to fit up to two guests if needed! 

• The final twin bedroom is a cosy room, fitted with a grand sunlit window gazing out over colourful fields. 

• And with both a ground floor and an upstairs bathroom, both fitted with a warming bath and cooling shower, there will be no waiting about as you refresh yourself for a new day!

The idyllic conservatory is a charming spot to relax in, with doors opening out onto a grassy garden and comfortable seating areas to relax in and look out over the view of the waving trees. The enclosed garden is perfect for your dogs (The paddock at the back is also great for morning walks with them!), and a gravelled patio area is ideal for a warm night spent over the provided BBQ / Firepit. If you’re a horse rider, there’s even stables where you can bring your horse – the perfect way to explore the stunning countryside!

Explore Exmoor National Park on Holiday

Head down into Wheddon Cross, a beautiful village high in Exmoor, where you can head up to Dunkery Beacon. Look over the unbeatable views offered, from the beautiful wild moorland to the waters of the Bristol Channel and Wales or majestic Brendon Hills. Or, explore Snowdrop Valley, a nearby valley covered in a blanket of snowdrops when they bloom. You’re spoilt for choice when exploring the countryside, whether you want to take walks through open moorland or sheltered woodland valleys. Try and spot some Exmoor ponies and deer! Or, for a day out in town, travel to Minehead (only 9 miles away), where you can find supermarkets and high street shops.
