Step into the stunning open plan arrangement of Byre Cottage, where you’ll be greeted by authentic beamed ceilings and plenty of natural lighting making this a bright and welcoming space. Curl up on the cosy furniture and take advantage of the smart TV (kitted out with Netflix so you won’t miss out on all your favourite shows!). You can also sit up at the dining table if you prefer and enjoy some homemade lunch.

The kitchen is set just behind the seating area, with the open plan arrangement making it into a sociable space so you can cook and chat together in the evenings. The kitchen has everything you could need to whip up something special! If it’s a sunny day, then feel free to dine alfresco, something which can’t be missed on a hot summer evening! The small rear garden overlooking the fields is a lovely space to savour, especially under a sunny sky!

The bedroom is the idea space to start and end your day, with a sumptuous king-sized bed.  You won’t be able to resist enjoying on a slow morning lie in. With high ceilings and a stylish interior, the bedroom is an ideal space to make this holiday perfect, and you’ll wake up ready for a new day. The ensuite shower and bathroom is a lovely addition, complete with a walk-in shower and a small tub, so you can refresh yourself and be ready for a new adventure! 

The additional laundry room on site is a convenient addition, offering a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Byre Cottage is a stunning place to stay, particularly if you’re a nature lover who fancies recharging surrounded by the gorgeous sites of the British countryside. Meadowbrook farm has 500 acres of scenic family-owned land in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the idyllic hamlet of Moreton. There’s plenty here to enjoy, including private walks taking you around the farm and even up to Thame and Princes Risborough. There are two beautiful ponds to enjoy as well, filled with Koi Carp, ducks and wildlife. If a town break is more of your thing, then travel up to Thame; only a 15 minute walk away – where you can find the weekly historical market as well as an endless array of local pubs and cafes to enjoy, including a chocolate café selling handmade chocolate. 

This is an absolutely stunning part of England, close to the Chiltern Hills where you can enjoy bike rides, walks and enjoy wildlife watching for deer at the Ashridge estate and looking out for red kites soaring in the skies.  Wendover with Wendover woods offers stunning views, along with trails for walkers and cyclists.  There are many great places to visit within an hour’s drive; Old Amersham with its array of old historic buildings is only around 30 minutes drive away, the pretty riverside town of Marlow with its riverside walks is just half an hour’s drive away, the city of Oxford is just 18 miles away, and Woburn Abbey and Safari park is around an hour's drive away.
