Ideal for a truly relaxing break, Kingfisher Lodge is one of just two holiday lodges enjoying an idyllic lakeside setting at Waterloo Farm Leisure in rural Leicestershire.With an onsite fishing lake, this is an ideal location for keen anglers or for those who are looking to relax and unwind in a lovely tranquil setting just 2.5 miles from the charming market town of Market Harborough, 18 miles from the city of Leicester. For holidaymakers who enjoy walking, cycling and watersports, Rutland Water is within a 50 minute drive.
Inside this 2 Bedroom Dog-Friendly Lakeside Lodge in Leicestershire
This welcoming holiday lodge has a modern stylish interior. The accommodation comprises:• Open plan living area with a comfortable lounge area with free view TV and DVD, plus a well-equipped kitchen with microwave, electric hob, oven and grill, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and washing machine. Doors lead from this room to the veranda.
• One bedroom with zip and link beds (can be made up as either a double or as a twin).
• One adult bunk room.
• A shower room with shower, basin and WC.
Outside, there is a decked veranda where you can sit out for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening, and soak up the setting and views out over our beautiful fishing lake.
There are cooking facilities in the lodge, but if you prefer to eat out, we have an on-site tea room, where you can buy hot snacks and treats.

There are two fishing lakes on site where guests can fish; Waterloo, and Jurior Lake. Waterloo lake is well stocked with carp, mirror, tench, chubb and barbel. Junior is a smaller lake for beginners aged 8 and above. There is secure parking available close to the lake if needed.For guests who enjoy cycling, there is direct access to the Brampton Valley Way cycle track from our site, ideal for romantic walks and family fun. For those who enjoy walking, the historic town of Market Harborough is just 25 minutes’ walk away.
