Fordingbridge is a town in Hampshire located just outside of the New Forest National Park with its many walks and nature trails. If you are looking for a country cottage break near the New Forest but also near other attractions in nearby Wiltshire then Fordingbridge may be a good choice for you. Although Fordingbridge is in Hampshire it is close to the Dorset and Wiltshire border. The historical town of Salisbury in Wiltshire is just an easy 10 mile drive away whilst the historical world heritage site of Stonehenge is just 21 miles from Fordingbridge.
Within Fordingbridge itself there are thatched cottages, an attractive historical church and other historical buildings making this a pleasant town in which to take a self-catering cottage break.
