The village of Grafton Regis is a small settlement towards the southern part of Northamptonshire, well located within the county for exploring other areas, and set in a serene location, wonderful for taking country walks with loved ones. It is also home to lots of self-catering cottages that are fantastic for renting for a holiday here. Housed within a charming 16th century thatched house, spending an evening in this traditional and friendly pub is a great way to round off the day with your friends and family.
There are a couple of things close by to Grafton Regis which are worth visiting. One is the Canal Museum in Stoke Bruerne just 2.5 miles from the village. Located in a picturesque setting on the Grand Union Canal, this interesting museum has exhibitions, displays and short films all about the pretty waterways of this area.
Also nearby to Grafton Regis, just 6 miles away, is the Ouse Valley Park. This gorgeous rural area is fantastic for a family day out, with picnic areas, places to spot wildlife and lots of walking trails.
Grafton Regis is just 9 miles from Milton Keynes which also makes a fantastic place to visit for the day, for a more bustling area.
