Make a splash when you book a holiday cottage with an outdoor swimming pool. Country Cottages Online features one of the UK’s best selections of self-catering accommodation with outdoor pools, choices include luxury holiday homes with private pools, dog-friendly rentals and more where you can swim alfresco.
Why Rent a UK Holiday Home with a Pool Outside?
With hot summers becoming more of a norm in the UK nowadays, having access to an outdoor pool where you can enjoy a refreshing dip, feel the refreshing water on your skin and cool off after relaxing on poolside loungers can be just perfect in summertime. Maybe you want to book a family-friendly place to stay in a holiday village with a shared kiddies’ pool where you can play splash, float around on rubber rings and play pool games with the kids. Or maybe you have in mind a luxury rental where you can enjoy morning laps in an infinity pool, and watch the sunlight reflecting on the water? At some holiday accommodation you may even be able to keep yourself entertained with night swimming under the stars, breakfast or lunch by the poolside, and maybe even with extras like unwinding on a hammock?
Options when it comes to outdoors pools can include heated swimming pools if you want to be assured of a comfortable water temperature, and private pools if you want seclusion and privacy. Indoor pools are ideal if you want to swim whatever the weather or time of year.
Best Destinations for Self-Catering Breaks with Pool Access

Places like the Cotswolds with their pretty walled gardens, charming towns and stunning countryside, and the idyllic Lake District are popular for leisure breaks too.
Whether you are a serious swimmer or looking to engage in some wellness and relaxation, we hope you find the perfect holiday cottage with an outdoor swimming pool for you from the collection on Country Cottages Online.
