Monmouth is the county town of Monmouthshire which can be found in the south east of Wales, just a mile or so from the border with England. Located on Church Street, the Savoy Theatre today doubles up as a cinema and a Grade II listed building, believed to be the oldest working theatre in all of Wales. Seeing a performance here will both be entertaining and educational as you sit back and watch a show in a theatre that dates back nearly two hundred years old.

The Monmouth Museum is a must-see when visiting the town as it is home to an incredible collection of Nelson material. It features fantastic performances from artists locally and further afield and previous performers at the festival have included Mungo Jerry, The Drifters and Goldie Looking Chain. There are also other festivals to pop along to in the year including the Rockfield Country Music Festival and the annual regatta, held every May.
