The highest point of the mountain is Moel y Gaer and trekking up to this point provides panoramic views over Halkyn and the surrounding towns, villages and areas of countryside. Walking through Moel y Gaer you will see prehistoric remains such as an Iron Age hill fort and a Neolithic timber longhouse.

Similar cycling trails can also be taken if you prefer to see the surrounding areas by bike.
