Inside this 2 Bedroom Argyll and Bute Chalet with Loch Views
Roomy and spacious, the Malabar is the largest holiday chalets at Ellary Cottages. Inside are two comfy bedrooms; one romantic double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The lounge features comfy sofas and superb loch views. Outside the lounge is a decked area where you can dine alfresco in summer time whilst soaking up the fabulous views. The stylish well equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking up your favourite meals on holiday. The large stylish shower room with large shower cubicle, basin and WC complete the accommodation.
Outside the chalet, the decked area with garden furniture is ideal for soaking up the superb uninterrupted views right across Loch Caolisport.
This chalet is available to rent between March to October.
The Malabar chalet is located by the mouth of the Lochead Burn which is a popular spot for anglers. Permits to fish for trout can be purchased at the office. This is also an idyllic location for bird watching and wildlife watching with deer and buzzards sometimes seen on site. There are many good walks on the Ellary estate and you can even hike in to the hills as far as Castle Sween. There is even a practice golf course beside the main house at Ellary which guests are free to use.
Argyll and Bute is also a popular area for sailing. There is a harbour on the estate where you can moor your boat if you have one. For days out, Oban is around an hour’s drive or take your boat if you have one!
