Swinford is a town located in the east of Mayo in Ireland, close to Charlestown and Ireland’s west airport, Knock.  The town is positioned on the tributary of the River Moy and is home to the Brabazon estate which is now partly a public park with some great facilities such as a 9 hole golf course, sports centre and football pitch.  Swinford is known for its great fishing waters which include the Callow lakes, Conn lake and Cullin lake.  Enjoy browsing for self-catering and country cottages in and near Swinford.
