We all enjoy a few days at the seaside and although the British seaside is familiar to us there is great variation around the coast. Yes, we have the large seaside resorts crammed full of piers and entertainment, funfairs, fish and chip shops, gift shops, pubs, theatres and all sorts of ways of parting visitors happily from their cash. We also have a large number of natural unspoiled beaches that are a haven for wildlife. The busiest beaches tend to be within easy distance of the large cities and areas of high population, travel to less populated spots to find those picture perfect sands and the lonely lighthouse.

Do read about each of our good quality holiday cottages with a wet room that make daily hygeine less strenuous for disabled guests. Grab bars are also always welcome, for disabled and elderly people who appreciate that aid to balance. Holidays should be relaxing and easy - choose somewhere that will make allowances for your disability and at least the accommodation should be manageable.
