New Forest village of Burley for cottage holidays
Burley is a very small pretty village in the New Forest, around which you are likley to see wild ponies. There are quite a few 'touristy' shops to browse through with gifts and local crafts. There are also a couple of pubs and tea shops where you can spend a pleasant afternoon or evening.
Burley is a charming place to relax and while away a couple of hours. Just outside Burley is beautiful heathland and landscape covered with gorse which is really quite lovely when in bloom.
