Description: About Spadgers Cottage
Spadgers is a romantic holiday cottage with an open log fire. It is part of a short terrace of 18th Century flax workers cottages, just off the lovely village green of Long Melford.
Spadgers benefits from 2 bedrooms and sleeps 3 people, the kitchen breakfast bar overlooks a lovely little oasis of a garden with a back gate leading straight out into the fields.
Long Melford is one of Suffolk's prettiest villages and is a haven for Antique hunters having been made famous by the TV series 'LoveJoy'.
The sitting room’s focal point is the lovely open fire, framed by the large oak Bressumer. The brick flooring is with original Suffolk Whites and the wooden panelling on the wall really makes this a very cosy room. The Kitchen is fully equipped and whilst staying here you can enjoy sitting by the breakfast bar and soaking up lovely garden views. The ground floor bathroom features a bath with a shower fitting and is accessed through the kitchen. Upstairs there are two comfortable double bedrooms, although one is on the small side so is better for a single person.
This cottage’s sunny garden really adds to its appeal. Fully enclosed, the garden backs on to a footpath which leads directly out to fields, perfect for those with dogs and for those who enjoy walking. Also outdoors is outdoor seating and a BBQ. Bikes are also available.
There is much to see around Long Melford in Suffolk.
