This homely cottage is located in the medieval village of Dunster, in Exmoor. Dunster with its pubs, shops and castle is a charming place for a cottage break.  The area boasts a variety of activities, suitable for every member of the family, including scenic walks, characterful shops, and fascinating historical sites. Dogs are also welcome, though may not be allowed on the furniture, and may not be left alone in the cottage. 

With two inviting bedrooms, both of which provide picturesque views of the surrounding village, this cottage can sleep up to four guests. A cot and high-chair can also be provided for any children staying.

• Light and airy open plan living area with comfy sofas and warming woodburner, which opens out to the dining area and the high quality kitchen with a kettle, a microwave, an oven, a toaster, a freezer, and a fridge.  Large tri-fold doors open out from this area to the garden, so you can enjoy the feeling of letting the outside in.

• One bedroom with a comfy king-size bed,

• One bedroom with two comfortable single beds,

• First floor shower room,

• Downstairs loo with WC.

Outside is a pretty south-facing private garden (which can be accessed from the kitchen).  A table and chairs are provided, as well as a barbeque, making it ideal for a cup of tea in the morning or dining al fresco with friends or family in the evening.

Dunster with its historic charm is a great place to enjoy a meal or drink out, or a meander.  The Castle is fascinating too and a great place to visit.  For holidaymakers who enjoy walking, hiking, cycling and horse riding, the stunning scenery of Exmoor National Park is found all around and is a wonderful place to enjoy outdoor pursuits.  For days out by the seaside, Minehead with its sandy beach and good choice of pubs, shops and eateries is only around 15 miles away.
