For a getaway to remember with friends or family, a stay at Park House at Cossington Park could be perfect. This impressive 6 bedroom holiday house sits amidst beautiful gardens and grounds and offers a chance to experience some of the best of country living.With two sitting rooms; the Drawing Room and the Snug, there is plenty of space to socialise and spend quality time with friends or family. Both sitting rooms feature a TV and games console. For special celebrations, the Library/Dining Room which seats 22+ is a beautiful large room fit for the most special of occasions. The spacious country kitchen is well equipped for entertaining with 2 dishwashers, a large oven, a microwave, a breadmaker, an icemaker and two fridges (one fridge freezer and one additional fridge for drinks). An informal dining area in the kitchen seats 8 and an additional 6 can be seated in the adjoining breakfast room. In addition, there is a scullery and a laundry.
All of the bedrooms have been individually decorated and styled. There are four comfortable double bedrooms (one with an extra double sofa bed) and two twin bedrooms (one of these bedrooms can be configured as a double if required). There are also two single sofa beds on Pooh’s Corner and there are three put you up beds that can be placed in any room except the Pump Room. There are four bathrooms and also a cloakroom downstairs.
Guests at Park House also have shared use of the walled garden, the rolling fields and orchard that are found beyond the Ha Ha and the children’s play area with wooden play fort and swing. For fun times with friends or family there is also a badminton set, croquet set and plenty of board games, as well as a Wii Console. For your entertainment, there is a fully SKY TV package available, DVDs, videos and a toy cupboard.Cossington Park with its beautiful gardens is a lovely oasis. If you want to explore the local area, Burnham on Sea is 11 miles away, the mystical town of Glastonbury is 11 miles inland whilst for idyllic unspoilt countryside the Quantock Hills are half an hour's drive away.
