Escape to the country for a romantic rural retreat break with the one you love at this beautiful barn conversion, set on a working farm in the scenic Brendon Hills just outside of Exmoor National Park. Ideal for couples looking to unwind and reconnect with nature, this characterful retreat features exposed wooden beams and rural charm throughout.
With miles of scenic footpaths from the doorstep and the wild beauty of Exmoor close by, whether you want to relax and unwind, or get out and explore, this is a wonderful home from home for 2. No children allowed, but one infant allowed (guests must bring their own travel cot and bedding).
This is a pet-friendly property and up to 2 dogs are welcome. One cat is also welcome (additional charges apply for pets).

Ground Floor:
• Welcoming open-plan living area with a comfy sofa and armchair, wood-burning stove (starter logs provided), and a flat-screen TV, ideal for loved up evenings in,
• Compact kitchenette with sink, kettle, microwave, air fryer, and single halogen hob (please note, there is no oven),
• Modern shower room with a large walk-in shower, WC, and basin.
First Floor:
• Spacious and romantic king-size bedroom, with a luxurious Hypnos bed and a comfortable armchair for reading a book.
This romantic retreat benefits from underfloor heating on the ground floor, and a wall-mounted radiator upstairs.
Additional amenities include a lockable drying room and outdoor shower, ideal for muddy boots or washing down dogs after countryside walks.
Outside, to the back of the barn is a fully enclosed private garden, ideal for soaking up the wonderful rural setting. This is an ideal spot to enjoy a coffee outdoors, soak up the sunshine on the loungers in summer, or cook up a feast with the BBQ and firepit.
Guests can also make the most of the shared outdoor spaces on the farm, including a tranquil pondside firepit area and a full-size tennis court for those who fancy a friendly match during their stay. There are excellent walks criss-crossing across the farm too.
Private parking is available on the driveway.

This beautiful barn conversion is just outside Exmoor National Park, a superb area for walking, hiking and various outdoor pursuits. For dining out, there is a local pub serving food just 5 minutes drive away. The coast is within easy reach too with the vibrant seaside town of Minehead with its sandy beach only around 13 miles away and Blue Anchor with its shingle beach just 10 miles away.
