Pretty 2 Bedroom Thatched Pet-Friendly Cottage on the Isle of Wight

Beautiful thatched 2 bedroom Isle of Wight stone-built cottage. Recently renovated, this high quality cottage sleeps up to 5 in comfortable surroundings.

At Scott’s Cottage there is a lounge with French doors that lead out to a lovely private garden, a fully equipped high quality kitchen/diner with those all important touches such as granite worktops, a comfortable master bedroom with en-suite shower room (on the ground floor) and another comfortable double bedroom (situated on the first floor) along with a family bathroom. Throughout the ground floor there are terracotta tiles and upstairs features oak flooring.

Views: The property is situated in our own valley and there are views across ancient woodland, downland and our farm fields, currently being grazed by our horses. A bridle path and cycle track pass across our land. The first floor is accessed via the internal main staircase or the little fire escape.

With a location by beautiful countryside, this is a fantastic tranquil part of the Isle of Wight and a haven for wildlife. Enjoy bird watching from the cottage. There are resident barn owls and woodpeckers and red squirrels can sometimes be spotted in the adjoining woods. Some may even visit your cottage to be fed! Enjoy sitting out by the pond and feeding the ducks and moorhens in this relaxing tranquil location.

Annual Events: The Isle of Wight Festival is about 15 minutes away by car (21 to 24 June). Cowes Sailing Week is 20 minutes by car (4 to 11 August) The Garlic Festival is 10 minutes by car (20 and 21 August)

Recommended Places to Eat Out: There is a list of excellent restaurants in the cottage.

Local Sports: Horse riding, cycling, golf are all in the vicinity. Cowes is 20 minutes for sailing and wind surfing, as is Bembridge and Ryde.
