Whether for a special celebration such as a wedding, an anniversary celebration or a gathering with friends, this fine property is bound to impress.Henry Lambert added fine architectural detailing in the 18th century to transform the house in to the elegant property it is today to woo the lady who later became his wife. The current owners are only the third family since Lambert to own the house and have lovingly renovated it to its former glory.

Sympathetically restored with new heating to give lashings of hot water and cutting edge appliances, the house has 11 bedrooms, 8 with en-suite bathrooms (plus one shower room shared by 2 bedrooms).For relaxing with friends and family there is an impressive drawing room with a fine plaster ceiling and views over the fields, as well as a formal dining room which seats 40 (ideal for those special occasions), as well as a library and a kitchen made for large group self-catering. Outside are several garden rooms, mostly laid to lawn, but all with stunning views over the surrounding countryside.
Barton Court is a wonderful venue for the finest of celebrations and occasions.

Stunning countryside views out to fields and hills. This room features a 6 foot super-king size bed, and ensuite with large 6 foot wide double shower with space for two, a lit bateau bath, and a separate cubicle with loo and basin.
Auden bedroom
Decorated with antiques, this room features a 6 foot superking size bed, and ensuite bathroom with slipper bath, basin and WC.
Holst
Beautiful bedroom with lovely views with a 6 foot super-king size bed, and a day bed which doubles as a full size single bed. This room also features an ensuite shower room with large walk in shower, deep bath, WC and basin.
Elgar
Stunning romantic bedroom with a modern four poster bed, plus 2 day beds. The luxurious ensuite with shower, two basins and WC, completes this room.
Browning
Ground floor bedroom with zip and link beds (can either be made up as a 6 foot super-king sized bed or as two singles). There is a wheelchair friendly shower room, plus basin and WC.
Masefield
This beautiful room features zip and link beds so can be made up as a double or a twin depending on your needs.
Vaughan Williams
Another lovely room which features a zip and link bed which can be made up as a king-sized bed or two singles, and an additional single bed.
Laura Knight
Stunning bedroom with stripey high ceiling. This bedroom features a zip and link bed which can be made up as a king-sized bed or two singles, and an additional single bed.

The Clock Tower and The Loose Box
Also within the grounds is the Clock Tower, an idyllic 1 bedroom romantic retreat which serves as a honeymoon suite when booked for weddings.
