Located just three miles from the small town of Neston on the Wirral Peninsula, Lavender Cottage is an end terrace cottage on a working livestock farm in the hamlet of Burton. The property is suitable for up to 5 people and has one double bedroom, one twin room with a futon, and a family bathroom. There's a fitted kitchen with a dining area, and a sitting room leading out on to a conservatory With stunning views across the river. A lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue provides a place for outdoor dining. There is off road parking for two cars, and a short drive will take you to the cities of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. A little longer drive opens up the Welsh coast and Snowdonia National Park. Lavender Cottage is ideal for a family looking to explore this beautiful part of the country.This holiday cottage has efficient gas central heating. In the kitchen there is a gas oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x colour TVs with Freeview, DVD, video, radio, WiFI. Library of books, DVDs and videos. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate. There is private parking space for two cars. Bike shelter/storage. Lawned garden to side and rear with furniture and barbecue. Use of two adult unisex mountain bikes available by arrangement with owner (at no extra cost). One day guest passes to Craxton Wood Hotel’s leisure club (pool, gym) included in the rent. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3 miles. Pub 1.5 miles. Burton Near Neston is a small village found on the Wirral and a very pleasant location for a cottage holiday. Thought of by many as the postcard picture village or the biscuit tin lid box picture, this small little village may not have a wild social life with it, but if there is one thing that it does offer, it is outstanding beauty and all the charm of a small village - something that is getting increasingly hard to find nowadays!
Neston has easy access to Parkgate Marsh where you can taste some famous ‘Nicholls’ ice cream in lots of different flavours, where you can eat out at restaurants such as ‘The Boathouse’ or ‘The Marsh Cat’ or simply go for a walk, it really can be a lovely place to visit, both for dog walkers and those that simply love going on a stroll. Not only this, but Burton Near Neston is also within easy access of the absolutely beautiful Ness Gardens, a botanical gardens which is sure to provide the perfect day out for all the family, with absolutely beautiful scenery and space for the kids to run around, play and enjoy themselves - there might even be a treasure trail that they can follow!
Set into beautifully quaint surroundings, Burton Near Neston really is a lovely place to visit, and while there isn’t much for tourists in the village itself, there are plenty of stunning natural attractions only a stone’s throw away meaning that if you want to visit a ‘perfect‘ rural village, you really couldn’t find better.
