Find a two or three bedroom pet-friendly holiday cottage within the Colmer Estate in South Devon. This small up-market holiday village has much to commend a self-catering break. The leisure facilities include extensive grounds with a lake and woodland, an indoor and heated outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, a games room and play grounds for children. Please note that although dogs are welcome, only small breeds will be accepted so do have a conversation about your dog with the owners before booking please.

Because this is a small holiday village with other guests holidaying here, many without pets, it is important that all dogs and their owners are well mannered.

Sandwiched between the acres of natural countryside of Dartmoor and the fabulous south Devon coast, a dog-friendly holiday in the Colmer Estate is THE place to be. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings on site and relax or venture out to discover seaside town on the south coast such as Bigbury-on-Sea, Hope Cove and the Kingsbridge estuary. Sailing is a big feature of this area and the rivers Avon and along the Kingsbridge estuary are lined with boats and yachts. The Colmer Brook flows into the lake at Colmer. Walk along it or around the lake with your dogs in the mornings or evenings. There are lots of birds to spot and the occasional fallow deer.

A self-catering holiday with dogs at Colmer can be as lazy or busy as you make it. The standard of accommodation is very good and there is a hot of places to visit, good eateries and good beaches within a short distance by car.
