The settlement is surrounded by sprawling countryside in the heart of England on an ancient trade route, and there are lots of independent and unique stores here, as well as a vast array of pubs, restaurants and cafes.
Close to the Silverstone motor racing circuit, Brackley is home to the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team and the Mercedes Grand Prix is based in the town. If you and your friends and family love auto racing then a stay in Brackley will be exciting and action-packed as you can visit the racing track and catch some incredible races.
Brackley has a brilliant cultural scene, with the Brackley Festival of Motorcycling, the Brackley Music Festival and an annual Carnival all taking place within the town. There is also a wonderful Farmer’s Market once a month as well as a general market each Friday which are great for sampling and purchasing some great local produce to cook in the kitchen of your rented cottage.
If you like the great outdoors, then the pretty St. James Lake is wonderful for spotting wildlife, going fishing and simply strolling around this peaceful area with loved ones, and if you like to keep fit when on holiday, then a visit to Brackley Leisure Centre or the swimming pool is a must.
