Why Book a Cat-Friendly Cottage this Christmas?
If you want to get away for the festive period, for many pet owners, Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without their cherished and much loved pet cat with them. It usually isn’t recommended to take cats on drives that are too long for their welfare, so booking a cottage for a Christmas break within an hour of your home is the best idea.
Although many catteries now market themselves as cat-friendly hotels, it’s just not a nice thought to think of our feline friends cooped up in a cattery whilst we are away enjoying ourselves in Britain, so staying in a cat allowed holiday home could be the perfect choice.
Discuss your Feline’s Needs Before Booking your Xmas Cottage
Prior to booking, always speak to the cottage owner or agency to discuss your bringing your pet and to find out how cat-friendly the rental is i.e. would your feline companion be allowed in all rooms or just some? Could you leave your cat alone in the property?
Whether you want to holiday in the Lake District or Yorkshire in England, in Pembrokeshire in Wales, in the Scottish Highlands or elsewhere in the UK, we feature a great selection of cat-friendly cottages for festive breaks for you to choose from.
