If you are planning for a self-catering holiday in Swansea, you may wish to think about some of the alternative amenities that are available with cottage holidays. Additional holiday amenities could be a swimming pool, snooker table, trampoline for the children or a hot tub.

Hot tubs are intended for adult use only and there are health consideration. Pregnant ladies should not use them, nor people with heart problems. Alcohol and large communal hot tubs are not a good idea either. Holidaymakers are often requested to sign a disclaimer when renting a holiday home with a hot tub although there really is little need if people behave sensibly.

Indulging in the soothing warm water of a hot tub is pleasurable for most and beats meeting people down at the local pub because it reduces inhibitions. However, we are considering a hot tub that cannot hold more than about 8 people at most and the weather of Swansea is not that suitable for lengthy periods in a swim suit outside.
