Large country house in the Wye Valley, with Games Room, Home Cinema Facilities and Stunning Country Views
Nestled in the stunning Llangovan Valley between Monmouth and Raglan, Orchard House Farm is a beautiful large country house with a stunning setting next to unspoilt countryside. Whether for a family holiday, a birthday celebration, a reunion get-together or for a break with friends, with the capacity to sleep a total of 24 people (across the main house and annexe), this country holiday home is ideal for big groups and is part of the Jareta stables farm complex where Spanish horses are bred and trained to the highest international standards.
Owing to its wholly unspoilt location it is not suitable for raucous parties or amplified music.
Within the extensive grounds there are fields, walking trails, a brook, acres of cider apples trees and the scenic Gaer Wood with its Roman Fort where you can enjoy views out the Brecon Beacons and in spring see beautiful British bluebells.
Inside, this welcoming large holiday house with its 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms offers luxurious, light and airy accommodation, far from traffic noise. There are superb country views from a number of the rooms and for star-gazers in search of 'Dark Skies' it's a real gem. Although enjoying a tranquil setting, there is plenty to offer guests here with a games room with pool table, table football and table tennis for fun times, as well as a lounge with home cinema style facilities (complete with 60" TV with surround sound).
Explore the Wye Valley on a Group Getaway
You can really enjoy the great outdoors too with good walks close by in fields and woodlands, and bike rides through traffic free lanes. Close by is the lush greenery of the Wye Valley AONB where there are more great walking trails, as well as pretty villages and towns with award winning pubs and restaurants.
Or if you prefer just relax and unwind at this scenic location, enjoying a chilled drink on the terrace whilst watching buzzards fly over the cider orchards whilst you soak up the sun. This is a truly beautiful location, just 10 minutes drive from Monmouth and 20 minutes car ride from Chepstow and the Severn Bridge.
