A pleasantly green county with rolling countryside and the south Downs, Sussex offers many attractions for people who like walking and the outdoors. There are numerous walks and footpaths both inland and on the coast. Being a large county, Sussex is divided into west and east Sussex.

Gatwick airport serves London from east Sussex. There are excellent connections for travel to London or other parts of the country including a train service directly from Gatwick Airport into London. If you're staying in Sussex, there are many places of interest to visit. Lewes shown on the right hosts an annual Bonfire Parade to mark the 5th of November and is highly recommended.
