Pet-friendly, this welcoming holiday chalet would ideally suit a couple and their four legged friend, keen to do the 6.8 km Quiraing walk. A challenge, but unforgettable views.

This chalet has electric central heating. It is open-plan and compact, so you can put all your energy into exploring the area. There is a comfy double bed with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, just off the living area. Rustle up warming meals in the kitchen that has a combi microwave/oven, two-ring hob, fridge with ice box.

Marvel at the amazing scenery over an early morning coffee in the gravelled garden, before setting off for the beach a mile away.

After a day of hiking you will gratefully flop onto the sofa for a cosy evening's Freesat TV.

Staying local, treat yourself to a pint or a wee dram at the pub and afterwards pick up a few essentials; 0.4 miles away. If you don't fancy cooking there are two restaurants in the village.

Visit the capital of Skye; Portree 17 miles away. It has a natural harbour and a pier designed by Thomas Telford, the famed Scottish engineer after whom Telford was called. Lots of shops, restaurants, a cinema, theatre, swimming pool.

The Isle of Skye is an awe inspiring place and a great place to discover on a romantic break.  A stay in Staffin is best suited to those keen to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and wake up day after day in an inspiring setting.
