The Sligo Pipe Band has performed in the past and as it takes place during one of the warmest months of the year, the festival is fantastic to go to if you appreciate traditions.

Another festival which takes place in the community is the Riverstown Vintage Festival, which happens during June each year. This one-day festival is packed full of exciting activities for families and couples for lovers of all things antique, including horse-drawn carts, steam engines, old farm machinery and vintage cars, and with live music and nibbles to eat, it is a great day out in the charming village of Riverstown.
