There are a number of interesting little islands off the coast of Cork which can be seen from near Lough Hyne in good conditions.  These islands are called Carbery’s Hundred Isles and there are a number of them.  The main ones for visiting on a self catering holiday though are Sherkin Island and Clear Island.  These Irish islands are sparsely populated and therefore attract many for wildlife watching.
