Having worked in the self-catering industry for over 13 years, Yvonne is an expert on UK staycations. Yvonne loves the countryside and discovering new places in the UK. Having grown up in Scotland, Yvonne is particularly fond of Scotland but now lives in the South East of England and explores the UK regularly, visiting new places and returning to best loved areas. Having travelled in the UK extensively, Yvonne loves to write about some of the UK’s most inspiring places and to encourage others to discover what the UK has to offer. Having a gluten allergy, Yvonne also has a preference for self-catering accommodation over hotel stays and loves to inspire others on why self-catering can make a lot of sense for holidaying on a budget, and for enjoying more space and home comforts whilst on a break away.
