On the banks of Willow Brook is the welcoming village of Woodnewton, found within the Rockingham Forest. Home to less than 1000 residents, Woodnewton may be small in size but is rich in things to see and do. There is a village church, a village hall – a hub for the community, a cosy pub and a pottery, and of course, you can take wonderful walks along the stream and surrounding areas of countryside daily, soaking up the rural atmosphere and taking in the fresh country air. There are a number of cottages that can be rented in and around Woodnewton for if you wish to visit for a self-catering holiday, and there are plenty of places nearby that can be visited on day trips such as Peterborough and Kettering.
