The village of Weldon can be found towards the north of Northamptonshire and is a peaceful settlement home to three pubs, one of which is an old 17th century coaching inn, and a historical church which dates from the 13th century. With a cricket club and a wonderful and welcoming population of people, Weldon is a nice place in which to rent self-catering accommodation for if you and your friends wish to explore a lesser-known part to the county. The much larger town of Corby is also only 2 miles from Weldon for if you fancy seeing a more lively part of Northamptonshire, and this town has a great shopping district as well as a wonderful new theatre which is fantastic to pop along to for an evening performance.
