The village of Sudborough is home to only around 200 people and is perfect to rent a self-catering cottage for a quiet and relaxing break with loved ones in Northamptonshire. It is on the boundaries of the old royal hunting ground of Rockingham Forest which is lovely for taking walks through, and it is situated on the banks of Harper’s Brook which is also wonderful to walk along for a romantic afternoon with your partner. Fermyn Woods Country Park is just 2 miles from Sudborough and is a rural delight with meadows and ponds to explore, and the nearest town is Thrapston which is only 3 miles away and makes an interesting contrast to the village as it is more vibrant and home to plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.
