Cranford is a civil parish in the English county of Northamptonshire, consisting of two settlements. These settlements are Cranford St Andrew and Cranford St John which are divided by the picturesque River Ise, and either one is great for residing in for a quiet and relaxing self-catering country cottage holiday with friends and family.
Cranford St John is the slightly larger settlement of the two, and features the parish church of St John which is a focal point of the village. There is a pub in Cranford St John, The Red Lion, which is a hub for the community and is great to settle into for the evening after a day of exploring your surroundings.
Cranford St Andrew also has a parish church, St Andrew, and is home to a pocket park, delightful for having romantic picnics or strolling through on a sunny afternoon. Both of these villages in Cranford are home to a selection of cottages that are available to rent on a self-catering basis, and renting one of these is a great way of exploring the civil parish and its surrounding areas.
Cranford is set in a great location as the towns of Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough and Northampton are all fairly near and can easily be visited if you and your loved ones which to see outside of the village and explore more of what Northamptonshire has to offer.
