For days out by the coast, there are lovely clean safe sandy beaches and coves nearby. Snowdonia National Park with its stunning mountain scenery, is 20 miles away. The Lleyn peninsula is the habitat of the rare red legged Chough, comical puffins on Ynys Seiriol and a host of sea and inland birds.
