Caldey island with its Cistercian Monastery is a good place for a day trip. Holiday cottages within 15 miles of Caldey Island are displaye don this page. Visitors can wander around the historic priory, tiny museum cum post office, enjoy tea and cakes at the cafe, sunbathe on the beach, and take photographs of the lighthouse, rocks and sea birds.
