A warm and cosy is an attractive 4* awarded stone holiday cottage situated in the South Hams area of South Devon, with heated indoor pool and gym.   It's a beautiful stone cottage on the magical estate. Superb facilities of an indoor heated pool and outdoor heated swimming pool, tennis, children's play area, games room, well stocked fishing lake, trout, golden rudd and carp up to 20 lb. Enclosed garden for ball games and large play equiptment for younger children. The 'Manor House Stables' has been beautifully restored with natural earth-friendly materials using traditional methods.  Dating back to the 18th Century this Grade II Listed Stable Block now forms 2 units of qualitiy self-catering accommodation which can be rented separately or together.

The ‘Hayloft’ is the newly restored first floor and is warm, welcoming and relaxing, with a wood- burning stove and cast iron radiators fed by a wood pellet boiler. The walls are insulated with battens of cotton and hemp and boards made of wood fibre whilst natural breathable paints and wood stains have been used on floors, doors and window frames. The large open plan living/kitchen area has exposed beams, lime-washed walls and real wood floors covered in braided wool rugs and recycled cotton mats. The sofa and chair coverings are cotton and linen – fabrics which are soft and natural and colours which are warm and earthy. A 26” HD ready TV and DVD/CD player and a selection of games, books and DVDs are all available for cosy nights in front of the fire. The kitchen is equipped with a Belfast sink, Rangemaster cooker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle as well as a range of quality kitchenware. A basket of organic veg freshly picked from the garden (or purchased from the local organic farm shop) awaits, along with other food items to ensure a relaxed and carefree break. Tucked away in a corner of the main room is a double 'box bed' - a bed boxed in by wood and enclosed by a curtain similar to those found in old-fashioned crofters' cottages and suitable for 2 children. The main bedroom has a double cast iron bed, small fireplace and a little en-suite bathroom with toilet and sink. The luxury mattresses are made of organic Welsh wool, the sheets are cotton (mostly organic) and the beds covered in bedspreads or quilts. The spacious main bathroom at the other end of the ‘Hayloft’ is a haven of peace and tranquility. Here you can soak in the deep copper bateau spa-bath whilst watching your favourite TV programme, relax in the sauna or freshen up in the steam shower. Chemical-free soaps and other luxuries are provided to make each stay a little more perfect...add to that chocolates, wine and fresh flowers and this is certain to be a very special break away.

Doxford Farm is a 500 acre working farm situated amidst undulating, unspoilt wooded countryside, five miles from the coast. We offer comfortable family accommodation in the form of 8 stone built terrace cottages as well as the farmhouse annexe.

The farm has both arable and livestock enterprises and supports various conservation and environmental stewardship schemes. The cottages are located at the end of a no-through road, thus creating a safe and quiet environment for our guests. The lake holds brown trout and our guests are welcome to fly fish by arrangement with the estate manager. We have five miles of wooded and lakeside walks and trails for our guests to explore the farm and our diverse wildlife.

 We have 9 Self catering farm cottages, all 3 to 4 star. All cottages are well equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezers and microwaves. There is a communal washing room equipped with an additional washing machine and tumble dryer. All linen is provided but we ask you to bring your own towels (excluding Dairy Maids and Farmhouse Annexe). Electricity is supplied by a pound coin meter, found above each front door (excluding Dairy Maids and Farmhouse Annexe). The cottages have a private water supply from a natural spring and parking is available adjacent to each cottage.

Northside Cottage - This cottage is North facing with its own garden. There are three bedrooms comprising of a double, a twin and a large bedroom with a double and a single bed. The bathroom is upstairs with a bath and shower overhead. The sitting room is comfortable with an open fire with flat screen TV and DVD player with Freeview . There is a separate dining room leading to a well equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
