Upton Cross has some woodland areas surrounding the village, namely Leymill Wood and Taylors Wood. It is also situated in a great area of countryside with Siblyback lake close by as well as Collyford lake a little further afield. The hamlets are also not too far from the Tamar Valley where you can appreciate some truly magnificent landscapes. Callington is worth a visit during your self catering stay all the way up to Upton Cross because of its beautiful location between the valley and Bodmin Moor.
