Brightlingsea is in north Essex on the sunshine coast which includes Calcton on Sea, Frinton and Walton on the Naze - a popular coastline for holidays and weekend breaks. The town is on the estuaries of Brightlingsea Creek and Colne which blend with the waters of the Blackwater and Thames Estuaries.
