We are so very fortunate to have such a wealth of places to stay in gorgeous rural areas criss-crossed with good walks and miles of coastal path where we can walk our dogs. There are pet-friendly pubs and eateries that very kindly leave bowls of drinking water out for thirsty dogs. There are few other holiday destinations that can equal the pet-friendliness of Britain and self-catering breaks.
