Milford on Sea is one of the last proper seaside villages on this part of the South Coast. there are several good pubs serving food and about six excellent Restaurants all vying with each other for your custom. Local shops provide fresh meat ,Fish, vegetables and wonderful cheeses , fresh rolls for your picnics . They also will deliver if you wish your groceries brought to the door. In April Milford is staging the Food Festival , a whole week of demonstrations, tastings and stalls on the village green selling everything connected with food and eating !!!! Walking and Birdwatching at Keyhaven and a trip to Hurst Castle is a must. Sailing , Boarding, just sunbathing on our pebbly beach (great advantage ,no sand in the sandwiches) It is a great place to be , come and try it out! Then there is Lymington , beautiful old Georgian town with a Saturday market and the Isle of Wight ferry terminal about 4 miles away.
