The Orangery was originally built as a garden house in the grounds of Frampton Court - this Grade II listed building was extensively re-decorated in 2006. The elegant dining room looks out onto a romantic woodland garden, whilst the drawing room, with its open fire and fabulous new wall painting, provides a blissful room in which to relax. A very unusual, original, cantilevered stone spiral staircase leads from the hall to two octagonal bedrooms (one double - with ensuite showroom)and one twin) on the first floor.These have views across the parkland and also the village green, and beyond the river Severn to the Forest of Dean. The Stable - The building was formerly used for cider-making and stabling working horses and now this converted 200-year old detached cottage fwelcomes guests to the Cotswolds on self-catering holidays. Located on a working farm, the Stable is cosy and comfortable with oil-fired central heating, electricity, linen and towels provided. The cottage is completely open-plan with a spiral staircase (not safe for toddlers) to the twin bedroom. There is an additional double bed-settee although the cottage would be cramped with more than two adult guests. The kitchen is simple with an electric hob, fridge and microwave. The toilet and shower room is downstairs. Electric heating is provided at no additional charge. No smoking is allowed inside this property. There are two pubs serving good food and real ale within walking distance and a village supermarket.
