Deerhurst Cottages are situated on our 230 acre working dairy farm, on the banks of the River Severn in the quiet village of Deerhurst. The perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean and the Malvern Hills and within easy reach of the spa town of Cheltenham, the city of Gloucester, and the medieval town of Tewkesbury.

It is impossible to mention all the attractions available to you but we have put together a list of a few ....

Eastnor Castle, Ledbury Hidcote Manor Garden (N Trust) Rococo Gardens, Painswick Stanway Fountain, Stanway Tewkesbury Abbey, Tewkesbury Gloucester Cathedral, Gloucester Nature in Art, Twigworth Gloucester Sudley Castle, Winchcombe Snowshill Manor (National Trust) Hailes Abbey, Hailes nr Winchcombe Cotswold Farm Park, Guiting Power Gloucestershire Warks Railway Wildfowl & Wetland Centre, Slimbridge.

The towns and villages nearby contain a large variety of pubs and restaurants where you can indulge yourselves with menus ranging from 'cordon bleu' to 'bangers and mash'.

During spring of 2005 the old cart shed was lovingly converted to provide two cottages offering comfortable, spacious and well equipped holiday accommodation in this peaceful and delightful part of the English countryside.

  • Swanlands Cottage – sleeps up to 4 plus baby offering a double and twin bedroom.
  • Hazelgrove Cottage – sleeps up to 2 plus baby offering a double bedroom.

Both cottages provide –

  • Large open plan lounge with modern fitted kitchens and dining areas
  • Bathroom with heated towel rail and bath with shower over.
  • All electricity, towels, bed linen and duvets are included in the price.
  • Electric storage heaters centrally heat the cottages.
  • Each cottage contains: Colour TV/DVD, CD player, cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, microwave oven, hair dryer, small DVD and book library, games and extensive tourist information.
  • Cot, highchair, baby bath, sterliser and changing mat available.
  • Patio and garden area with furniture and a picnic table. A BBQ is available.
  • Plenty of parking.
  • For the safety and comfort of all our guests the cottages are non-smoking.
  • We regret pets are not allowed. (Guide dogs excepted)
